Governance
Akeyulerre is guided by strong governance rooted in Arrernte cultural values and community leadership. Our board and management work collaboratively to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment with our mission to preserve and celebrate culture, strengthen community well-being, and provide meaningful opportunities for our people. Through careful stewardship, we honor the past while building a sustainable future.
Our Board
Our members are people of the Arrernte community, who elect 12 people to form our Board of Directors. Under the watchful eye of our Elders and alongside our members, the Akeyulerre Board of Directors guide our work and keep the organisation strong.

Elders are everything to us. We respect Elders. They are our leaders. They give authority and hold the law for us. They hold knowledge and show us what to learn. They care for us and watch over our families.

Our Friends
It takes the support of many dedicated individuals, organisations and partners to keep Akeyulerre Healing Centre alive and working toward the vision of our Elders. Akeyulerre is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation.
Our core work and programs are funded through Commonwealth and NT Government grants and our Philanthropic partners. We work hard to achieve solid outcomes, that are enabled through each of these mutually beneficial relationships.
We operate a social enterprise business model to sustain our work into the future. All proceeds go directly back into Akeyulerre to support our healing work with Arrernte people.
We are developing a community of donors and welcome support with online donations.
We thank all past, current and future friends and partners, who believe in and understand the importance of our purpose.

Akeyulerre is an Arrernte organisation with long history of community service in Central Australia. We strive for better health and wellbeing for our people, we look after our elders and we teach the young ones.
When you purchase our products you are supporting the maintenance of cultural knowledge and healing practices as well as supporting Arrernte workers producing these products.
You can make a single donation or set up a monthly subscription to support Akeyulerre deliver cultural healing programs with Arrernte families.
